Ongoing escalations | Turkish and Kurdish forces traded intensive rocket fire in Manbaj city

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported intensive rocket fire by Turkey-backed factions in the early hours of Tuesday in the Kurdish-controlled areas in northwest Manbaj village. Also, Turkish forces have participated in the attack and targeted al-Jat and al-Hosharyah villages by rocket fire while the Kurdish forces have replied with similar strikes on the factions areas. The intensive strikes took place after the Kurdish forces have sneaked into the region amid information about death of three of the factions members.

 

On June 9, SOHR activists reported a rocket fire shelled by the Turkish forces on Wednesday morning, targeting areas in Jabal al-Sayed stationed under control of Manbij Military Council in the western part of Manbij countryside in northeast Aleppo. Material losses have been reported but no news about casualties.

 

On June 1, Syrian Observatory activists documented rocket fire by the Turkish forces targeting areas in the two villages of al-Jat and al-Hoshriyah and other villages under the control of the Kurdish forces in Manbij northeast Aleppo, but no casualties have been reported.
