Regime-controlled areas

 

 

-SOHR activists in western Euphrates areas have reported that “Iranian Cultural Center”, in al-Mayadeen town in eastern Deir Ezzor, has organized in the past few days a free course for teaching montage and photography in the headquarters of the center. Dozens of the inhabitants and the local residents have joined the course that will last for a month. By the end of the course, the center will choose some of the participants and will employ them at the media bureau of the Iranian Cultural Center.

 

-SOHR activists in eastern Ghouta in Reef Dimashq have reported that a patrol of the military security service has stormed a house of a civilian on Sunday, in the city of Zamlika, that was the main hotbed of “Al-Rahman Division” faction during its control on the region. The raid has arrested an old man and his son for unknown reasons. The two were put in the security prisons in Damascus.

 

-SOHR activists have reported that regime security service at the checkpoint of al-Dahia in the city of Daraa has arrested former chairman of local municipal city Jasem who carried a settlement ID, with no information about the reasons.

 

Nearly seven members of the regime forces were wounded in a land mine explosion believed to be ordinance of ISIS during their combing operation on areas of Wady Abyad in the town of Tadmur in eastern Homs countryside.

 

 

Aleppo

 

-SOHR activists have reported intensive rocket fire by Turkey-backed factions in the early hours of Tuesday in the Kurdish-controlled areas in northwest Manbaj village. Also, Turkish forces have participated in the attack and targeted al-Jat and al-Hosharyah villages by rocket fire while the Kurdish forces have replied with similar strikes on the factions areas. The intensive strikes took place after the Kurdish forces have sneaked into the region amid information about death of three of the factions members.

-SOHR activists have reported that Turkish-backed military police has stormed an office for renting cars in Aqgal in Afrin countryside, arresting two brothers over charges of unlicensed weapons possession. The accident came after the military police had arrested a young man several days ago from the same village on charges of dealing with the Autonomous Administration where he was sent to the Turkish intelligence.

 

 

SDF-held areas

 

-SOHR activists have reported US military patrol marching in the village of al-Shaybaniyah, that are positioned under control of eastern countryside of al-Qamishli city, in search for a scouting plan that was downed in the areas due to technical problem.

 

-SOHR activists have reported that SDF continue imposing curfew on al-Busirah town in east Deir Ezzor countryside, along with the ongoing security campaign. Local sources told SOHR that, the security campaign included indiscriminate and retaliatory arrests of tens of young and adult men, including a youth who mounted the pulpit of a mosques in  Al-Busaira city on December 12, after Friday prayer finished, blaming SDF for the instable security and lawlessness in the region, especially after high frequency of demanding residents to pay large amounts of money to a gang that had operated under the name of ISIS. Local Sources added that SDF members hit residents with sticks while they were trying to break the curfew and went out of their homes for shopping.

 

-SOHR activists in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside reported that SDF has combed al-Busirah town in midnight and have imposed a curfew amid raiding tens of houses that arrested dozens of people till the moment. The raids took place amid ongoing heavy deployment of SDF in the city streets, which caused wounding a man and his wife in shooting by the raiding members while they were standing on the roof of their houses in al-Busirah.

 

De-Escalation zone

 

-SOHR activists have reported death of a female civilian was killed and her child was wounded in a rocket fire by the ground regime forces on al-Mantaf village in Jabal al-Zawiyah southern Idlib. The attack coincided with a rocket fire by the regime forces also on different areas in south Idlib countryside.

 

-SOHR activists have reported hearing a loud explosion in Idlib, caused by the explosion of explosive materials stored in a basement of a Turkistani fighters’ house nearby the new Idlib governor’s palace. The explosion resulted in outbreak of fires and caused material damage in the neighborhood, along with widespread resentment among the residents over turning the residential neighborhoods into warehouses.
