Expressing rejection of closure of Bab al-Hawa crossing | 80 organizations appeal to renew UN security council resolution of cross-border aid deliveries

In a press conference held today in al-Ameria camp, near Kafr Yahmol village in the northern countryside of Idlib, more than 80 humanitarian and medical organizations have signed a joint statement calling for the renewal of the UN security council resolution of cross-border aid deliveries into north-west Syria region.

 

Participants in the press conference lifted placards with slogans on them, some of which read “the humanitarian aid border crossing is a test for the world – The border crossings are lifeblood“, while Ghouta displacement people raised a slogan reads “al-Assad fought us with food and medicine. Do not hand over the border crossings to him. Do not kill us twice.”

 

Around 80 humanitarian and medical organizations working in north-west Syria and dozens of displaced Syrians in the area , participated in the press conference and  assured their rejection to close Bab al- Hawa border crossing with Turkey, which has been scheduled to be closed in July 10.
