Regime-controlled areas

 

 

-Daraa province has witnessed a new assassination attempt as two persons, belonging to the same family, have been shot dead at the road of Sahm Golan-Gleen in western Daraa countryside.

According to SOHR activists, the two dead person area from Tafes city and they are former fighters in “al-Moataz Bellah” faction, who have quit fighting after the regime forces had controlled Daraa and they struck reconciliation and settlements.

 

-SOHR activists have documented the death of two regime soldiers and the injury of seven others in a new ambush by ISIS in Wadi al-Abyad “the White Valley” in Palmyra desert in Homs governorate. This attack coincides with the ongoing combing operations by Russian and regime forces and their proxy militias in the Syrian desert, searching for ISIS members in the region. Meanwhile, SOHR sources have reported that Russian fighter jets have executed over 40 airstrikes on various positions in Syrian desert which mostly targeted the eastern countryside of Homs.

 

-SOHR activists in north Aleppo countryside have reported a new rocket fire by the Turkish forces on Tuesday night targeting areas in the two villages of Ain Daqnah and Mengh that are stationed under control of the Kurdish forces causing material losses, with no information about causalities.

 

-SOHR activists have reported armed fighting among members of one family in al-Barouzah village in Akhtareen village in north Aleppo countryside under control of the Turkish forces and its proxies. The fighting that has left at least one killed, and several others were wounded, coincided with arrival f civil police escorted by a armored vehicle to end the differences.

 

 

SDF held areas

-SOHR activists have reported a new assassination in al-Hawl camp in al-Hasakah countryside of an Iraqi refugee who was shot dead by ISIS cells members during his presence in the third section of the camp.

According to SOHR, this is the third assassination operation in June, and the tenth crime since end of the first stage of the security campaign, and indication that doesn’t bring optimism amid fears of return of escalating crimes in the camp.

-SOHR activists have reported that Syrian Democratic Forces have found, during storming one of the houses in al- Busaira town, quantities of fertilizers and weapons that have been put barrels that are buried under land in the garden.

SDF members have arrested a man and two women who were renting the house from a man living outside the province of Deir Ezzor and sat the house ablaze.

 

-SOHR activists have report the death of an SDF member today when unidentified gunmen on a motorbike shot him in Sweidan Jazirah village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. This development coincides with the prevalence of ISIS cells in the region.

 

“Peace Spring” areas

-SOHR activists, in Ras al-Ain area (Sere Kaniye), which is under the control of Turkish forces and proxy factions in Al-Hasaka countryside, have reported on Wednesday morning renewal fighting between armed group headed by a dissident of Al-Hamzat Division from one side and military police on the other amid use of heavy weapons. The attacks left wounded amid fears of the population.

It is worth noting that similar clashes took place Yesterday night among the same factions and then it was stopped and resumed again on Wednesday morning.

 

De-Escalation zone

 

SOHR activists have documented the death of a regime soldier by opposition faction’s sniper on the frontline of Kafr Nebl in south Idlib.

 

On the other hand, traffic has stopped on Damascus-Aleppo international highway “M5” due to clashes, with heavy machineguns, between regime forces on one hand, and “al-Fath al-Mubin” operations room and Turkish forces on the other, as the two parties traded fire with heavy weapons, while traffics resumed after one hour.

 

Hours earlier, SOHR activists documented the death of four civilians and the injury of six others due to mortar fire by Syrian regime army on Afes village in Idlib countryside, while civilians were participating in a funeral in the village.

 

SOHR activists haddocumented the death of a female and her child in artillery fire near a Turkish checkpoint in al-Aatareb city in the west of Aleppo countryside.

 

On the other hand, three members of the Turkish forces were wounded in an attack by regime forces on the Turkish checkpoint in Kanesfarah south of Idlib. They were transferred to the Turkish hospitals, while one of them sustained serious wounded.

 

Meanwhile, Turkish forces and factions bombarded regime forces positions in the city of Saraqeb in the east of Idlib, city of Kafrnobel in the south of Idlib without information about casualties.
