Aleppo | Kurdish and Turkish forces trade fire on frontlines of northern countryside

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that Turkish forces fired several rockets on Kurdish-held areas in Samouqah, Um al-Qura and Sadd al-Shahbaa in the northern countryside of Aleppo. The Turkish rocket fire coincided with sporadic clashes between Kurdish forces and Turkish-backed factions on the frontlines of the region.

On the other hand, Kurdish forces shelled the outskirts of Mare’ city in the northern countryside of Aleppo, but no casualties have been reported.

On June 24, Turkish forces and their proxies bombarded areas in Sheikh Issa, Harbel and Tel Refaat, which are under control of Kurdish forces in north Aleppo countryside, amid clashes between pro-Turkey factions and Kurdish forces on the frontline of Harbel. But, no casualties were reported yet.

A day earlier, SOHR activists in north Aleppo countryside reported renewed rocket fire by Turkish forces, which targeted areas in the Kurdish-held villages of Ain Daqnah and Menagh, causing material damage only.
