“De-escalation zone” | Regime forces start new round of bombardment, targeting positions in Idlib and Hama countryside

Syrian Observatory activists in the “de-escalation zone” have reported that regime forces shelled positions, this morning, in Fulayfel, Baynin, al-Faterah, al-Bara in the southern countryside of Idlib and Sahl al-Ghab in the western countryside of Hama. No casualties have been reported.

Yesterday, SOHR activists monitored that “al-Fath al-Mubin” operations room fired several rockets, targeting positions of regime forces and their proxy militias in the city of Salma in the northern countryside of Latakia, but no casualties were reported.

On the other hand, regime forces renewed bombardment on frontlines in Jabal al-Akrad in northern Latakia and Jabal al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib.

SOHR activists had reported artillery fire by regime forces, in the early hours of Saturday morning, which targeted positions in Fulayfel village in the southern countryside of Idlib, al-Ankawi, the surrounding areas of al-Ziyyarah in Sahl al-Ghab in the north-western countryside of Hama, and the frontlines in Kabana in Latakia countryside. Meanwhile, the “de-escalation zone” has experienced frequent flights by Russian reconnaissance drones.
