De-Escalation zone

 

Syrian Observatory activists in the “de-escalation zone” have reported that regime forces shelled positions, this morning, in Fulayfel, Baynin, al-Faterah, al-Bara in the southern countryside of Idlib and Sahl al-Ghab in the western countryside of Hama. No casualties have been reported.

 

SOHR activists have documented the death of a member of opposition factions due to regime rocket fire this morning on al-Faterah town in Jabal al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib. On the other hand, regime forces renewed rocket shelling on positions in Jabal al-Zawiyah.

 

SOHR activists in Idlib province have reported seeing Turkish forces combing Latakia-Aleppo international highway “M4” from Musaybeen to the bridge in Ariha city in Idlib countryside.

 

SOHR sources reported that a military patrol of Syria Democratic Forces stormed a river crossing in al-Shuhayl town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, where SDF members opened fire on a ferry used to smuggle goods and people while heading to regime-controlled areas on the opposite bank of Euphrates river. It is worth noting that the ferry was carrying oil, which burnt it down, but no casualties were reported.

 

Syrian Observatory for Human Rights activists have reported that SDF patrol has been positioned in the water purification station in al-Zarr village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor where the patrol’s members opened fire, with Doshka machinegun, on trucks awaiting in regime- held areas in al-Zabary village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

 

Syrian Observatory sources have reported an assassination attempt which targeted the chief of the “Farmers Union” and an official in “al-Raqqah Civil Council” near the brick factory in SDF-held areas in eastern al-Raqqah, as unknown gunmen opened fire on them. However, no casualties have been reported.

 

 

“Euphrates shield” areas

SOHR activists in “Euphrates Shield” areas have reported an IED explosion this morning in a military vehicle belonging to the Turkish-backed National Army in al-Boghazal alley in al-Bab city in the eastern countryside of Aleppo. The explosion led to the death of a man and injury of a child and caused material damage.

 

 

“Olive Branch” areas

 

SOHR activists have reported that the security force of the Turkish-backed al-Sham Corps arrested three civilians from al-Ghazawiya village in Shirawa district on June 23 for “dealing with the Autonomous Administration during their control of Afrin”. On the other hand, Turkish intelligence and military police arrested a civilian who worked as a translator among the military police in Qora Baba village in Rajo district for unknown reasons, and he was taken to the headquarters of Turkish intelligence in Afrin city.

 

SOHR activists in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor say that gunmen believed to be of ISIS cells shot a member of the Internal Security Forces dead in al-Hisan town.

 

SOHR activists have documented the death of a child affected by the wounds he sustained yesterday after a landmine planted earlier by ISIS exploded in Kherbat al-Zamala village in the eastern countryside of Manbij city, north-east of Aleppo. Accordingly, the number of fatalities due to the explosion has risen to four, mostly children.

 

 

Regime-controlled areas

 

Syrian Observatory activists in al-Quneitra province reported the assassination of the mayor of Ghadeer al-Bostan town, near the border with the Syrian occupied Golan, after unknown gunmen opened fire on him in front of his house.

 

SOHR activists have documented that the jihadi “Ansar al-Tawhid” faction stationed in areas under the control of opposition factions in the  northern countryside of Latakia have targeted, with three rockets, Baaqlion village in the countryside of al-Qardaha city, the hometown of the Syrian regime president “Bashar al-Assad”, causing material damage only.
