The rebel and Islamic factions reopen the road for the vehicles to go to IS- held areas in the countryside of Aleppo

Aleppo Province:

The helicopters dropped barrel bombs on areas in the neighborhoods of Jibb Al-Quebeh and al-Sekkary in Aleppo city. They also dropped barrel bombs on areas in Mghyrat al-Shelby in the southern countryside of Aleppo and on areas at the vicinity of Kweris airbase besieged by IS in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.

 

Clashes are taking place between the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them against the rebel and Islamic factions in the vicinity of al-Wdyhi village in the southern countryside of Aleppo. Other clashes took place  after midnight between the regime forces supported by NDF and al-Ba’eth brigade against the rebel and Islamic factions in the outskirts of al-Khaldiyyeh neighborhood and the area between al-Leramoun and al-Shihan north of Aleppo.

 

The  coalition’s aircrafts carried out more than 15 airstrike targeting areas in the countryside of Ayn al-Arab (Kobani), no information about casualties so far. 

 

The rebel and Islamic factions and Jabhat Al-Nusra (al-Qaeda in Levant) re-opened the highway for the vehicles heading toward IS controlled areas which carry food, vegetables and industrial materials, the sources confirmed that the highway will remain open only for 48 hours in case IS didn’t open it from their side to the side of the factions and Jabhat Al-Nusra. SOHR published 4 days ago that the Areas under control by rebels in Aleppo and its countryside are witnessing a sharp lack of fuel since few days due to the clashes in the northern countryside. A truck driver reported to SOHR after IS seized half of his gas that the IS will cut the fuel and make the rebels “attack on donkeys”. Areas under control by the IS northeast of Aleppo countryside are witnessing a sharp lack of supplies and food, after the Islamic battalions prevented the supplies trucks from crossing into these areas.
