Military escalation | Clashes and attacks renew between Turkish-backed factions and Manbij Military Council Forces on al-Sajour frontlines

Aleppo province: SOHR sources have reported rocket attacks by Turkish forces, last night and in this morning, on positions in Arab Hasan and Um Adasah in Manbij countryside. Moreover, Turkish forces and their proxy factions on one hand, and Manbij Military Council Forces on the other traded machinegun fire on frontlines of al-Dandaniyyah, al-Yashili, Um Adasah and other areas, known as al-Sajour line, in Manbij countryside. However, no casualties have been reported.

Yesterday, Observatory sources reported violent clashes in the early hours of Tuesday morning on the frontlines of al-Sajour in north-eastern Aleppo, between Turkish forces and their proxy factions on one hand, and Manbij Military Council Forces on the other. The clashes were accompanied by exchange of intensive fire and bombardment, amid reports of casualties. It is worth noting that these clashes continued on Manbij frontlines for the second consecutive day.

A day earlier, SOHR activists reported exchange of medium and heavy machinegun fire between Manbij Military Council Forces on one hand, and Turkish forces and their proxies on the other, on the frontlines of al-Shajour in northern Aleppo, but no casualties were reported.
