Al-Hasakah | NDF arrest several civilians in outdoors market, amid rising tension with Asayish Forces

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists have reported growing tension between the Internal Security Forces “Asayish” and the National Defence Forces (NDF) in al-Hasakah city, as a group of NDF members have arrested of nearly ten civilians from their shops in the market of al-Hasakah city for unknown reasons. Meanwhile, Asayish Forces arrested an NDF member.

 

On Monday, SOHR activists reported that a military group affiliated to the regime-backed National Defence Forces has seized a school in Jarmez village in the south of al-Qamishli city, turning it into military headquarters. On the other hand, SOHR activists had reported that individuals believed to be NDF members by throwing a sound bomb at a checkpoint of international forces “Asayish” in al-Tamy neighborhood in al-Qamishly that has been recently completely controlled by Asaysih.
