Euphrates Dam | Along with improvement of water storage rate, electricity back to al-Hasakah after a week of power outage

SOHR activists have reported an increase in the water storage rate at Euphrates Dam which helps to improve electricity supply provided to al-Hassaka city. Electricity has been connected for two hours this morning, after being cut off in the city for about a week.

Well informed sources say that electricity working hours are up to four hours per day, along with operating the power turbines and the increase of the power supply provided by the power station in al-Tabqa city.

On the other hand, farmers in al-Raqqa governorate have moved the water extracting machines to their agriculture fields which is located near to Euphrates River to a higher positions due to the raise of water level of the river, as they feared that their fields would be flooded by the increasing water.

Other sources have confirmed that around 30 megawatt per hour have been delivered to al-Hasakah governorate in the day time, while it is expected that the amount will be increased to 50 megawatt per hour after midnight which will help to improve the electricity supply delivered to the region.
