IED attack | Explosion targets regime military vehicle in al-Quneitra countryside

Al-Quneitra province: Reliable sources have told SOHR that an IED exploded in a Pickup vehicle with a submachine gun installed over it affiliated to regime forces, as it was passing by al-Jibayliyyah town in the southern countryside of al-Quneitra. The explosion has injured regime soldiers who were traveling in the targeted vehicle.

 

On June 27, Observatory activists in al-Quneitra province reported the assassination of the mayor of Ghadeer al-Bostan town, near the border with the Syrian occupied Golan, after unknown gunmen opened fire on him in front of his house.

 

While on June 25, SOHR sources reported that an IED exploded in a car belonging to a former judge of regime state security court who became a judge of criminal court, in Qarqas village in south al-Quneitra countryside. The explosion resulted in the death of his son who works as a lawyer and injury of two other sons.
