Daraa | Regime forces bring reinforcement to Jasem and body of dead man found in eastern Daraa

 

 

Daraa province: SOHR activists have reported finding a body of unknown civilian shot dead with singes of torture on his body near al-Misifirah countryside in Daraa eastern countryside. On the other hand, regime forces in the past few hours, have received military reinforcement at its positions in eh city of Jesem, northern Daraa where the soldiers have arrived and have been distributed at the military barriers and checkpoints in the city.

 

Since the beginning of the security chaos in Daraa in early June 2019, Syrian Observatory activists have documented more than 1,128 attacks and assassination attempts by gunfire and detonations of IEDs, motorcycle-bombs and car-bombs. These attacks and assassinations claimed the lives of 771 persons, categorised as follows:

• 222 civilians, including 13 women and 22 children

• 355 regime soldiers, loyalists and collaborators with regime security services.

• 136 fighters of factions that struck “reconciliation and settlements” deals with the regime and became in the ranks of regime’s security branches, including former commanders.

• 27 Syrian militiamen affiliated to the Lebanese Hezbollah and Iranian forces.
