Regime-held areas

 

-Regime forces and factions loyal to those forces and to Russia in eastern al-Hamawiyah desert continue combing the areas in search for ISIS cells that are active across the Syrian desert for the second day on row. Regime forces escorted by Russian warplanes started yesterday the combing operation that was focused on the frontlines of al-Rahgan and al-Shaqousiyah eastern Hama.

 

-SOHR activists have reported death of a defect young man of the regime army due to his torture in the bad reputation Sidnaya prison who is known as “human slaughterhouse” after three years in jail. It is worth noting that the young man was arrested from kafrbanta in eastern al-Ghoutah after the regime controlled it in March 2018 despite striking settlement and reconciliation that hadn’t rescued him from torture.

 

-SOHR activists, in Iran and regime forces-held areas in Deir Ezzor, have reported arrival of military committee coming from Damascus to Deir Ezzor on Wednesday. It is worth noting that the committee main task is to demolish military checkpoint affiliated to Russian-backed “Palestinian Liwaa al-Qouds” factions that have committed large violations against the civilians in Deir Ezzor like imposing levies. The committee has ordered to eradicate the checkpoints starting with one at the entrance of Baqrous village near al-Mayadeen in east of Deir Ezzor. The committee’s work meant to minimize the Russian role in Deir Ezzor.

 

-Syrian Observatory for Human Rights activists have documented the death of a group leader and a member of Russian-backed 8th Brigade of the 5th Crops and injury of two others in an attempt by the Russian-backed militiamen to arrest some suspects.

 

-SOHR sources have reported that four members of the regime-backed Liwaa 112, including a lieutenant, were killed and two others were injured, after targeting their military pickup with an IED on the road between Nafaa village and Ain Zekr in the western countryside of Daraa. SOHR sources have confirmed that other regime soldiers arrived at the explosion site and hospitalized the injured soldiers, then blocked the road and deployed in the surrounding areas of Ain Zekr village.

 

 

Aleppo

 

-SOHR activists in northern Aleppo renewal of Turkish rocket fire on the Kurdish-held areas in northern Aleppo as the Turkish artillery has targeted in the early hours of Wednesday areas in Marenas, and vicinity of Meng Military Airport.

 

-SOHR activists have reported violent clashes between Liwaa Shamar under control of al-Hamza division on one side and al-Jabha al-Shamiya and Ahrar al-Sham al-Islamiyah on the other in al-Sokariyah area stationed near al-Bab city eastern Aleppo. SOHR activists have reported that clashes were caused by difference between the factions over opening a road of trafficking towards the regime-held areas in the region, But, no information have been reported about casualties till now.

 

-SOHR activists have monitored that Turkish forces stationed in al-Yashli village in east Aleppo countryside have shelled, with artillery, Tel al-Sayada and Um Adasa villages in the north-western countryside of Manbij. In a related context, SOHR activists have monitored clashes with medium weapons between members of Manbij Military Council Forces and Turkish-backed factions, on the frontlines between both sides in the same countryside, but no causalities have been reported yet.

 

 

SDF-held areas

 

-SOHR activists have reported an exchange of fire in the early hours of Wednesday at the Turkish-Syrian border in western al-Derbasyah countryside between Turkish border guard forces “Jandarma” on one side and the internal security forces (Asayish) on the other after several persons have attempted to cross into the Turkish lands from the Syrian side. Trading fire has continued for few minutes and then it was renewed aging amid information about death of a Turkish solider after his military vehicle has broken and crashed into a wall during the exchange of shooting and he was expected to be wounded in the shooting.

 

 

“De-escalation zone”

 

-SOHR activists have reported several artillery fire on the vicinity of the Tukish al-Naftah countryside in Qawqeen village in south of Idlib by regime ground forces, but no casualties have been reported. The Syrian forces have been escorted by Russian scouting aircrafts while al-Fatah al-Mubeen factions have bombarded regime positions in Joureen camp in west of Hama with rocket fire.
