Regime-held areas
-SOHR activists in eastern Daraa countryside have reported that Russian-backed 8th Brigade of the 5th Crops has imposed a curfew in al-Mataiyah city. The forces have arrested several male adults and men in the city in response to the murder of a leader of the factions in clashes with wanted people in the city. It is worth noting that the 8th Liwaa members have at fire in nine houses of civilians also in al-Mataiyah.
-SOHR activists in al-Mayadeen city, the capital of the Iranians in Syria under control of the western Euphrates area that has become an Iranian colony on Syrian lands, that factions of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards have seized dozens of houses in the city in eastern Deir Ezzor. The Iranian affiliated factions have confiscated 14 houses in al-Arbeen Street and 12 houses in street 16, and 8 houses in al-Mahareem neighborhood. According to SOHR activists, all the houses were owned by opponents of the Syrian regime from outside the area. The Iranian affiliated factions have first notified relative of the opposition members who were now living in those house to deport in maximum 48 hours. They left without resistance, and even their neighbors also fled their houses fearing that the factions-seized houses will be turned into human armors or weapon warehouses for the Iranians as usual, which constituted an air target for Israel and the international coalition.
-SOHR activists have reported that Russian jets have suspended their operations since this afternoon, after five Russian jets bombarded Syrian desert in the early hours of Thursday morning. On the other hand, several regime soldiers were injured due to the explosion of an old landmine in their military vehicle on the Athrea road, west of al-Raqqah city.
Aleppo
-SOHR activists have documented, in the early hours of Thursday, a rocket fire has been bombarded by the Turkish forces and its proxies stationed in eastern al-Bab countryside under control of al-Bab military council forces in eastern Aleppo.
-SOHR activists have reported that the regime forces have targeted a military checkpoint affiliated to “Sultan Murad Division” in Abu al-Zaneen crossing in eastern al-Bab city in eastern Aleppo. The attack left two members of the division wounded and explosion sound was heard in Afrin city. The explosion was caused by engineering divisions that were detonating land mines of war ordinance in the city vicinity.
-SOHR activists have reported that some members of the Turkish-backed faction of Liwaa al-Waqqas set fire, on July 6, to the bushes and olive trees in Karkur mountains between Tatara and Bazia villages in Jendires district, in order to timber and sell logs, which led to the burning of more than 200 dunam of fruit-bearing and forestry trees. It is worth mentioning that Liwaa al-Waqqas controls Bazia and Tatara villages which are affiliated to Jendires district in Afrin countryside, north-west of Aleppo.
SDF-held areas
-SOHR activists have reported in Ain al-Arab Kubani that a gang has killed a woman and wounded her brother and two of her sons seriously after they robed golden accessories and personal possessions at At Kubani-aL-Qamishli road while the family was heading to visit her sick father in al-Qamishli. The victim is from Ashqanah village in Kubani countryside.
-Russian and Turkish forces have toured joint patrol in the countryside of al-Qamishli city in the afternoon. Eight-armored vehicle patrol that escorted by two Russian helicopters have toured villages of Atbah, Shitka, babsy, Keel kasnak, Derna, Kardem, Tal Khatoun and Shalhomia located between al-Jwadiah and al-Qahtanyah of Alyan neighborhood.
“De-escalation zone”
-SHOR activists on Thursday have reported rocket fire bombarded by regime forces on the areas around Turkish military checkpoint in Balyoun area in Jabal al-Zawiyah in southern Idlib countryside. The regime forces also have bombarded other areas in Jabal al-Zawiyah in northwest Hama countryside while HTS has targeted regime forces and its proxies positions in Kafrnaba in southern Idlib countryside, but nor casualties have been reported yet.
