“De-escalation zone” | Regime rocket fire on Jabal al-Zawiyah injures man and his little son

SOHR activists in the “de-escalation zone” reported that regime forces fired several rockets this morning on positions in al-Deqmaq in Sahl al-Ghab in north-western Hama, Mar’yan, the outskirts of al-Bara, Fulayfel and Bayanin in Jabal al-Zawiyah in southern Idlib. The rocket attacks on Mar’yan left a man and his son injured and caused material damage. Moreover, Russian reconnaissance drones were seen flying over the southern countryside of Idlib.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that Russian fighter jets executed several airstrikes on Hursh Joezief area in Jabal al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib, but no casualties were reported.

It is worth noting that the area hosts military headquarters of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham. It is also worth noting that this was the second round of airstrikes on the region in 24 hours.

A day earlier, SOHR activists in the “de-escalation zone” reported that Russian warplanes executed several airstrikes at noon on the frontlines of Kabana in Jabal al-Akrad in north Latikkia countryside, and Hursh Joezief in Jabal al-Zawiyah in southern Idlib, which caused material damage, but no casualties were reported.
