Rif Dimashq | Dispute over a bread basket killed civilian in western Rif Dimashq

Reef Dimashq province: SOHR activists have documented death of a civilian, in Zakyah village in western Reef Dimashq, where a man carrying a military rifle shot a bread distributor from Aleppo. The shooting has killed the man and wounded his 17 years old son.

According to SOHR sources, the difference took place between the bread distributor and a civilian over the right of the civilian to get an extra bread basket, which escalated to a fist fight between them and ended with a bullet in the chest of the distributer. The shooter managed to escape before the arrival of security patrol and police to the crime scene.

It is worth noting that areas which are controlled by regime forces still witness dire living conditions crisis, such as lack of fuel, bread, electricity blackout, water cut and the ongoing bread crisis to this day, without any alternative solutions from the Syrian government.
