Peace Spring areas | New armed clashes with RPGs in Ras al-Ayn (Sere Kaniye)

SOHR activists have monitored violent clashes with machineguns and RPG between two armed groups belonging to the Turkish-backed Hamza Division in southern al-Mahatah street in Ras al-Ayn (Sere Kaniye) city under control of the “Peace Spring” areas in al-Hasakah countryside, but no casualties have been reported yet.

On June 23,SOHR activists, in Ras al-Ain area (Sere Kaniye), which is under the control of Turkish forces and proxy factions in Al-Hasaka countryside, had reported renewal fighting between armed group headed by a dissident of Al-Hamzat Division from one side and military police on the other amid use of heavy weapons. The attacks left wounded amid fears of the population.
