SDF and International Coalition carry out security operation in al-Hasakah countryside | SDF security operation in Deir Ezzor countryside target ISIS fighters

 

Syrian Democratic Forces-controlled anti-terrorism units with support of the International Coalition has carried out a security operation in Abdan village in al-Shadady in southern countryside of al-Hasakah yesterday where it has arrested three members of ISIS.

SOHR activists have also reported that SDF have carried out a security campaign in al-Zer village in eastern Deir Ezzor in search for members of ISIS cells who have abducted a young man working in oil field on June 20, and killed him in the outskirt of Zoubain countryside in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that fighters of Syrian Democratic Forces ”SDF” stormed today river crossings in al-Shuhayl town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, and opened fire on the ferries on the opposite bank of the Euphrates river in areas controlled by Syrian regime and Iranian militias in Buqrus town in the countryside of Deir Ezzor. However, no casualties have been reported yet.

It is worth noting that SDF security campaigns on river crossings aim to put an end to the ongoing smuggling operations to regime-held areas.
