“De-escalation zone” | Regime forces renew shelling villages and towns of Sahl al-Ghab and Jabal al-Zawiyah

SOHR activists in the “de-escalation zone” have reported rocket fire by regime forces this morning, which targeted areas in al-Ankawi in Sahl al-Ghab in western Hama, Fulayfel, Bayanin, the outskirts of al-Fatera, al-Bara and Kansafra in Jabal al-Zawiyahin the southern countryside of Idlib, but no casualties have been reported. Meanwhile, Russian reconnaissance drones were seen flying over the region.

 

Yesterday, a little girl was killed and others were wounded in artillery fire by regime camps on Hmaimat village in Sahl a-Ghab in northwest Hama countryside. SOHR activists also documented death of two members of Jaysh al-Ahrar by an artillery shell that targeted their position in the village of al-Arbeikh in eastern Taftenar town in Idlib countryside.

 

On the other hand, regime forces fired several heavy artillery shells on the villages of al-Hmaimat, Qastoun, Qulaideen, al-Zaqoum and al-Ankawy in Shal al-Ghab which caused considerable material damage.

 

Moreover, artillery fire hit, in the early hours of Monday morning, villages of al-Sarmaniyah and al-Ziyarah in northwest Hama countryside, Kansfarah, al-Futirah and other pots in Jabal al-Zawiyah in Idlib countryside, but no casualties were reported.
