Security campaign | SDF storm areas in rural Deir Ezzor, arresting ten people for “belonging to ISIS”

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR activists have reported that members of SDF patrols have stormed several houses in al-Hesan and al-Jinniyah towns in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor where they arrested nearly ten people for “belonging to ISIS cells”.

SOHR sources reported earlier this morning a new armed attack by unknown gunmen, but believed to be of ISIS cells, which targeted a military post of Syria Democratic Forces in al-Shuhayl town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. The attack was followed by clashes with light weapons between both sides, which left several members and fighters injured. After the attack, SDF have stormed several houses around the attacked post, arresting two young men at least.
