Second patrol in July | Russian and Turkish forces tour al-Darbasiyah countryside

SOHR sources have reported seeing Russian and Turkish forces running a new joint in north-east Syria region, as a patrol of four Turkish armoured vehicles and four other Russian set off from Sherik crossing on the Syria-Turkey border in the western countryside of al-Darbasiyah. The patrol toured villages in the areas in the countryside of al-Darbasiyyah and Abu Rasin (Zarkan), before it returned the starting point. It is worth noting that Russian helicopters escorted the patrol.

 

SOHR sources had reported seeing Russian and Turkish forces running a new joint patrol in north-east Syria region. A patrol comprising four Russian vehicles and four other Turkish set off from Sherik crossing on the Syria-Turkey border in the western countryside of al-Darbasiyyah and toured the villages of Dalek, Ta’alak, Kurkand, Hajoughly, Bar Kafri, Qunaitar, Sallam, Alik, Otayshan. The Russian patrol later returned to their base in Tel Tamr, while two Russian helicopters were escorting the patrol.
