Infiltration operation | Fighters of Manbij Military Council sneak into positions of National Army, killing and injuring six militiamen

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have documented the death of two militiamen of the Turkish-backed National Army in an infiltration operations by Manbij Military Council Forces on their positions on the frontlines of al-Ghandourah in Manbij countryside. Meanwhile, five other militiamen were injured, some seriously, which may raise the number of fatalities.

 

On the other hand, Turkish forces bombarded Kurdish-held areas in northern Aleppo intensively. However, no casualties have been reported.

 

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that Kurdish forces targeted a military vehicle of the Turkish-backed factions with a guided missile near Marimeen village in Afrin countryside, north of Aleppo, which wounded the vehicle’s occupants, amid unconfirmed reports of fatalities.

 

Earlier that day, SOHR sources reported rocket fire by the Turkish forces and their proxies in the early hours of Wednesday morning on Kurdish-controlled areas in the northern countryside of Aleppo, including Sawaghanka, Ibbin, Oqayba and Qunaitara.

 

Meanwhile, clashes erupted between factions of the Turkish-backed “National Army” and Kurdish forces on the frontlines of Basalihiyah in northern Aleppo. The clashes were accompanied by exchange of bombardment.
