Afrin | 12 killed and wounded in artillery fire in residential areas north Aleppo

Aleppo province: Death toll rises to two due to artillery fire in Afrin city and they are unidentified child and an adult in addition to ten people have been wounded in the attack including women and children. Deaths are expected to rise because some of the wounded sustained serious injuries.

SOHR activists have documented, few hours ago, that a child was killed and other were wounded in shelling Afrin city that is stationed under control of the Turkish forces and its proxies.

Meanwhile, several civilians have been wounded in targeting positions under control of the Turkish forces in north Aleppo countryside.

Turkish-backed factions with a guided missile near Marimeen village in Afrin’s countryside north of Aleppo, which wounded those inside the vehicle, amid unconfirmed reports of fatalities among factions.

Earlier, SOHR sources reported rocket fire by the Turkish forces and their proxies in the early hours of Wednesday morning on Kurdish-controlled areas in the northern countryside of Aleppo, including Sawaghanka, Ibbin, Oqayba and Qunaitara.

Meanwhile, clashes erupted between factions of the Turkish-backed “National Army” and Kurdish forces on the frontlines of Basalihiyah in northern Aleppo. The clashes were accompanied by exchange of bombardment.
