As al-Assad getting ready to take “constitutional oath” | Regime forces kill civilian woman and two little girls in Idlib countryside

SOHR activists say that regime forces and militiamen loyal to Russian and regime forces targeted a position in Sarjeh villahe in the southern countryside of Idlib with a Russian-made guided missile, before they targeted the same position with another guided missile, as rescue teams were on there way to the targeted site. SOHR initial reports have confirmed the death of a civilian woman and two little girls due to these rocket attacks, while other people are still stuck under the rubble, which may raise the number of fatalities.

Moreover, regime forces shelled positions in Bayanin, Fulayfel and al-Faterah in southern Idlib and other positions in Sahl al-Ghab in the north-western Hama countryside.

This development comes at a time when Bashar al-Assad is getting ready to take the “constitutional oath” for a new presidential term.

On Thursday, SOHR activists documented the death of a civilian in rocket fire by regime forces, which targeted Tadil area in the western countryside of Aleppo.

On the other hand, Turkish forces shelled regime positions in Maarrat al-Nu’man in the southern countryside of Idlib. Moreover, the factions of “al-Fath al-Mubin” shelled positions in the regime-controlled town of Jurin in Sahl al-Ghab in the north-western countryside of Hama, as a response to the massacre by regime forces on Idlib this morning.

A few hours earlier, SOHR sources reported that the number of civilians killed in regime massacre in Masbah area nearby al-Fu’ah town in north-eastern Idlib jumped to six. Moreover, the death toll is expected to rise further as the bombardment left seven over persons injured, some seriously.

SOHR activists had documented the death of three civilians, including a woman and a child, due to rocket fire by regime forces this morning on Iblin in Jabal al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib.

Accordingly, the number of civilians killed and injured today in bombardment by regime forces on the “de-escalation zone” has reached 20 people.
