YPG engaged the clashes in Al-Hasakah city and fight against IS on the outskirts of Ghwyran

Al-Hasakah Province:

Clashes are still taking place between the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them against IS in the outskirts of al-Nashwa al-Gharbiyyah and in the Criminal Security Branch area, amid contradicting information about the party that controls the area of Criminal Security Branch which has been largely destroyed as a result of the bombing of the “Islamic State” for two booby- trapped vehicles in the building, leading to the death of 20 members of the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, including a colonel. Other clashes are taking place between the two parties near the central prison which is controlled by the regime forces. They also were able to crash a drone flied over the central prison.

 

SOHR had been informed that YPG has engaged in the clashes with local fighters against IS near al-Villat al-Homr on the outskirts of Ghwyran neighborhood southeast of Al-Hasakah.
