Regime-held areas

 

-SOHR activists have reported death of a person by unknown gunmen riding a motorbike in Jasem town in north Daraa countryside. The victim was member of “al-Katibah al-A’mniyah” in Jasem Local Municipal and recently he has no affiliation to any factions after the regime had controlled Daraa completely and had struck settlements.

 

-SOHR activists have reported death of four members of the regime forces by ISIS cells stationed in Palmyra desert in eastern Homs countryside. The victims were killed in the past two days while military groups of the regime forces were combing the desert before they have been ambushed and murdered by the regime. Funeral of the victims took place in the afternoon from the military hospital in Homs city.

 

-The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has documented the death of a boy affected by injuries he sustained in shelling by opposition factions on Naaor Jurin in Sahl al-Ghab in west-north Hama countryside, while ten other civilians sustained various injuries.

 

 

Aleppo

 

-SOHR activists have reported that two members of the Turkish-backed Malak Shah Division were killed and four others were injured due to rocket fire by the regime forces on Abu al-Zendin crossing in the vicinity of al-Bab city in eastern Aleppo.

 

 

SDF-held areas

 

-SOHR activists have reported that new joint patrol of Russian forces and Turkish counterpart has toured Ain al-Arab (Kubani) countryside. The joint patrol has started from Ghareeb village of eastern Ain al-Arab and has toured villages of kerinav, Kousk, Elishar, Joum, Aly, Kourtek, Zkiyek Satan, Tal Hajeb, Telk, Houlaqiah, Jiehan and Kourat Mough before it returned back to Ghareeb village amid escorting of Russian helicopters.

 

SOHR activists have reported that a convoy belonging to the International Coalition has entered north and east Syria from al-Waleed crossing on the border with Kurdistan region of Iraq, where the convoy which consisted of 30 vehicles was carrying military and logistic supplies and armoured vehicles. The convoy headed to the military bases in al-Hasakah and Deir Ezzor.

 

-SOHR sources have reported that a young man was severely wounded while climbing the Turkish border wall in an attempt to cross into Turkey with two of his companions from the Syrian Kharaza village between al-Darbasiyah and Amuda in rural al-Hasakah. SOHR sources have confirmed that the young man got into an area of crossfire between Turkish Jandarma and SDF border guards, while his two companions managed to cross into the Turkish territory. This area has experienced increasing smuggling operations from Syria to Turkey, especially human trafficking.On the other hand, SDF border guards stationed in Karbashk village, about seven km to the west of Darbasiyah, fired a mortar yesterday on the Turkish territory. The Turkish forces reacted by firing three artillery shells and bombarding the village with heavy machineguns. Meanwhile, Asayish Forces and intelligence services started an investigation on the accident.

 

 

“De-escalation zone”

 

-SOHR activists have reported finding the body of an unidentified person at Kafria-Idlib road in Idlib countryside. The corpse has been transferred to one of the hospitals in the region, but the conditions and nature of his murder have remained unknown.

 

-SOHR activists have documented the death of a little girl due to severe wounds she sustained in yesterday’s massacre caused by regime bombardment on Ihsem, which raised the number of fatalities to eight, including four women and four children. On the other hand, the factions bombarded, with heavy artillery, Jurin town, Naaor Jurin and al-Berka village in west-north Hama countryside, which left several civilians wounded, including a child. Moreover, the factions shelled regime positions in Sahl al-Ghab and Slanfah in Latakia countryside. However, no casualties have been reported yet.

 

-SOHR activists have reported drop of several rocket fire in Aroum al-Gouz countryside in Ariha city in southern Idlib countryside. The attack has caused wounding of five civilians and material losses in the civilian properties.

 

-SOHR activists in “Putin-Eroghan” area reported new round of ground bombardment of the regime forces in the area as more than 100 artillery and rocket fire targeted areas in al-Futirah, Safhoun and Fulifil while most of the strikes hit al-Futirah.

 

On the other hand, other strikes bombarded other areas in Sahl al-Ghab in northwestern Hama, while factions of al-Fatah al-Mubeen operation room hit regime forces in Jureen, and Shathah neighborhood in western Hama countryside. But, no casualties were reported.
