Israeli attacks | New airstrikes destroy weapons and ammunition warehouses belonging to Hezbollah in western Homs
Reliable sources have told the Syrian Observatory that Israeli fighter jets flying over Lebanon struck, in the early hours of Thursday morning, military positions of the Lebanese Hezbollah in al-Dab’a military airbase, al-Qusair area in the western countryside of Homs and other military positions and posts in the eastern countryside of Homs. The new airstrikes have destroyed weapons and ammunition warehouses, amid confirmed reports of casualties.
On July 9, SOHR activists documented the death of 11 Syrian regime soldiers and militiamen of the National Defense Forces, including a brigadier general, in Israeli strikes on the scientific research centre in the area of Kharbat al-Tinah in western Homs. The strikes also targeted an ammunition warehouse belonging to the Lebanese Hezbollah, south of Homs city.
