Regime-controlled areas

 

-Reliable sources have told the Syrian Observatory that Israeli fighter jets flying over Lebanon struck, in the early hours of Thursday morning, military positions of the Lebanese Hezbollah in al-Dab’a military airbase, al-Qusair area in the western countryside of Homs and other military positions and posts in the eastern countryside of Homs. The new airstrikes have destroyed weapons and ammunition warehouses, amid confirmed reports of casualties.

 

-SOHR activists have reported the explosion of al-Jaisah gas pipeline near Tal al-Hajeif in northwest Deir Ezzor countryside, as unknown gunmen have used IED. The explosion has caused a blast in the area. It is worth noting that this is the third time for bombing the same pipeline since the beginning of 2021.

 

-SOHR activists have reported that Russian fighter jets struck several positions in in al-Shawla desert in southern Deir Ezzor and al-Rasafah in the south-west of al-Raqqah province, along with ongoing combing operations by regime forces and their proxy militias, searching for hideouts of ISIS members. Moreover, Russian jets have executed several airstrikes on Hama and Homs deserts.

 

 

Aleppo

 

-SOHR activists have reported intensive rocket fire by the Turkish forces and its proxies on the Kurdish-held areas in north Aleppo countryside. The attacks have targeted Deir Gamal, Soughanqa, Abeen, Aqabah, Mera’naz and the vicinity area of Mangh Military Airport. But, no casualties have been reported yet. On the other hand, five rocket fire have been struck by the Turkish forces stationed in Tukhar Sagheer village on the Tukhar Kabeer village in Manbij town countryside, northern Aleppo, without information about injuries.

 

-SOHR activists have reported violent feud between military groups affiliated to al Jabha al-Shamiyah” and “Ahrar al-Sham” in al-Skariyah village in al-Bab city eastern Aleppo. The feud was triggered over a smuggling road in the regime-held areas. The clashes left three members wounded from Ahrar al-Sham faction and sat a headquarter of the factions ablaze.

 

 

SDF-held areas

 

-SOHR sources have reported that unknown gunmen opened fire on an SDF member in al-Busayrah city in Deir Ezzor countryside. The SDF member sustained various injuries and he was taken to the hospital.

 

-SOHR activists have reported that unknow gunmen have stormed a house in al-Busirah town in eastern Deir Ezzor, yesterday, and have killed the owner of the house, his wife and another woman. Reasons behind the crime remained unknown.

 

 

“De-escalation zone”

 

-SOHR activists have monitored peaceful popular protests in the villages and towns of Jabal al-Zawiyah in Idlib countryside, as the protestors condemned the Turkish inaction towards regime military escalation. Tens of people demonstrate in front of Turkish posts and blocked roads to these posts, expressing their anger against the massacres committed by regime forces in the region. On the other hand, the residents are afraid of possible repression by Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham over the protests, especially since HTS is in charge of defending the border strip and Turkish posts, although there are other factions are guarding these posts.

 

-SOHR activists have reported wide popular protests in villages and towns of Jabal al-Zawiyah against the Turkish forces stationed in dozens of military posts in the region. The protests came as an expression of anger over the massacres committed against the people of Iblin at a time when the Turkish forces kept silent. It is worth noting that the last massacre left seven civilians, including four children and a woman, dead. According to SOHR activists, the residents set fire to car tires in front of some Turkish posts and blocked some roads.
