Airstrikes for 2nd day on row | Near Turkish checkpoint, Russian warplanes bombarded fire on Jabal al-Zawiyah

 

SOHR activists have bombarded six airstrikes by Russian warplanes before Friday noon. The attacks haves targeted al-Barah town in Jabal al-Zawiyah in southern Idlib countryside near the Turkish checkpoint in the same area. But, no casualties have been reported yet. It is worth noting that this is the second shelling on the same area for the second day on row.

Yesterday, SOHR activists have reported that Russian warplanes have targeted al-Barah town in Jabl al-Zawiyah with three airstrikes, in the early hours of Thursday. But, no causalities have been reported yet. It is worth noting that the targeted areas included Turkish monitoring posts and one of the strikes has been close to that post.

The attack came after massacre by rocket attack that has been carried out by the regime forces on Ibleen village in Jabal al-Zawiyah in southern Idlib countryside that killed seven civilians of the same family including four children, their mother, uncle and grandfather.
