Regime-controlled areas

 

-SOHR activists have reported an armed feud between the 4th Division that is headed by Maher al-Assad, brother of the regime chairman on one side and the regime security service on the other near a gas station in Daraa al-Mahatah in Daraa city. The feud has progressed into exchange of shooting between the two sides. The clashes have caused death of two from members of the 4th Division, one of them is under 18 years and have left other wounded

 

-SOHR activists have reported the death of a lieutenant in the regime force line due to an armed attack by ISIS members who have targeted him with a gun machine in al-Mosareb desert in Deir Ezzor countryside yesterday. It is worth noting that the victim is from Homs province.

 

-SOHR activists have reported that negotiation committees have reached an agreement with regime security committee evading military operation in Daraa al-Balad. The agreement stipulates for the following:

 

  • Settlement of the security situation of 50 persons and handing over their weapons

 

  • Setting up new checkpoints of regime troops at the slaughterhouse and post office.

 

According to SOHR sources, the agreement was presented and approved by both the Daraa committee and Syrian regime, while discussions are still underway regarding the mechanism of implementing the agreement.

 

 

SDF-held areas

 

-Series of crimes continue in al-Hawal mini-state amid large operations of the ISIS cells in the camp that is stationed in southeast al-Hasakah. SOHR activists have reported death of three Iraqis refugees including a woman in a shooting by ISIS cells in the past few hours in the first and the second sections of the camp.

 

 

“De-escalation zone”

 

-SOHR activists have documented protests and sit-ins of the population in Idlib amid silence of the Turkish proxies to express their anger about the escalations of the regime forces and its factions in the region which have caused large massacres. It is worth noting that the protests have set rubber tires ablaze in front of the Turkish post in al-Masmoutah frontline in Idlib countryside. Others have organized sit-in in front of the Turkish checkpoint in Moatazem village in Jabal al-Zawiyah, while other protests have taken place in Neftinare town in eastern Idlib. Meanwhile, protests in Eazaz city in north Aleppo in solidarity with the population and inhabitants of Jabal al-Zawiyah.

 

-SOHR activists have bombarded six airstrikes by Russian warplanes before Friday noon. The attacks haves targeted al-Barah town in Jabal al-Zawiyah in southern Idlib countryside near the Turkish checkpoint in the same area. But, no casualties have been reported yet. It is worth noting that this is the second shelling on the same area for the second day on row.

 

-SOHR activists have documented the death of a child and injury of another child when they were hit by indiscriminate gunshots during clashes between an armed man and members of “Damascus Gathering” in al-Fouaa town near Idlib city. While HTS security services are on high alert in al-Fouaa town, amid ongoing tension.
