Ongoing violations against Kurds of Afrin | Turkish-backed factions arrest three people from Ma’batli

Aleppo province: SOHR sources have reported that an armed group of Malak Shah faction arrested a civilian from Afrin’s Ma’batli yesterday and took him to the faction’s prison in the district for unknown reasons.

On the other hand, Sultan Murad Division arrested a young man from Kubkah village of Ma’batli district in mid-July. Another civilian from Semalka village of Ma’batli district was arrested by the same division on July 21 for unknown reasons.

In Shirawa district, al-Sham Corp released a civilian after being arrested three days earlier for “dealing with the Autonomous Administration”. It is worth noting that the man endured mental and physical torture, before he was found guiltless and released.

Al-Sham Corps also released a civilian after having a heart attack due to the brutal torture he was subjected to in the faction’s headquarters and prison in Iska village.

A few days ago, SOHR activists reported that a patrol of the Turkish-backed military police arrested a minor from Kurkan Tahtani town in Ma’batli district in Afrin countryside on charges of “dealing with the Autonomous Administration”, where he was sent to the military police center in Ma’batli district.
