After rocket fire on Afrin city | Turkish forces and their proxies renew shelling Kurdish-held areas

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported artillery fire by Turkish forces and their proxy factions on Kurdish-held areas in Mar’naz and other positions in northern Aleppo and southern countryside of Afrin. This bombardment comes after several rockets hit residential neighbourhoods in Afrin city, which resulted in the injury of eight civilians, including four children and two women. Meanwhile, another woman was injured after a rocket hit the suburbs of Mare’ city in the northern countryside of Aleppo.

 

A few hours ago, SOHR activists confirmed that several rockets hit residential neighbourhoods in Afrin city which is under the control of Turkish forces and their proxy factions, as the rocket fire targeted Ma’rata roundabout, Raju road and al-Villat street, amid reports of injury of civilians. However, it is not known if Kurdish or regime forces fired these rockets.

 

On July 15, SOHR activists reported that the number of people killed in artillery fire on Afrin city rose to two, a child and an unidentified man. In addition, ten other people, including women and children were injured, some seriously.
