Security campaign | SDF storm houses in al-Shuhayl, arresting family of four, including a child

Deir Ezzor province: Syrian Observatory activists have reported that a large security group of Syria Democratic Forces have stormed several houses in al-Shuhayl town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, along with flights by drones over the town. The security forces have arrested a family of four and they are as follows:

  • A man working in al-Shuhayl specialized hospital.

  • A child under the age of 18.

  • A man working as a guard in al-Omar oil field.

  • A man who was arrested while he was attempting to escape with weapons, ammunition and shells.

However, the reasons behind this arresting these people remained unknown.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that Syria Democratic Forces released a young man after being arrested three hours earlier from his house in al-Shuhayl town over a complaint by civilian following a fight between the two men. The young man was lashed and punched before he released, as marks of torture on his body were obvious.
