Turkish Jandarma violations | Nearly 20 soldiers beat two Syrians brutally while attempting to cross into Turkish territory from al-Darbasiyah

As the Turkish border guard forces “Jandarma” continue assaulting the Syrians who try to flee from the war by shooting or torturing them, Syrian Observatory activists have reported that the Turkish Jandarma has assaulted two Syrian young men while attempting to cross into Turkish territory from al-Darbasiyah countryside on the Syria-Turkey border in al-Hasakah countryside. According to SOHR sources, nearly 20 Turkish soldiers have successively the two young men brutally and took their mobile phones and money before deporting them to Syria, via al-Qarmaniyah gate in the west of al-Darbasiyyah city.

On July 19, SOHR sources reported that a young man was severely wounded while climbing the Turkish border wall in an attempt to cross into Turkey with two of his companions from the Syrian Kharaza village between al-Darbasiyah and Amuda in rural al-Hasakah. SOHR sources also confirmed that the young man got into an area of crossfire between Turkish Jandarma and SDF border guards, while his two companions managed to cross into the Turkish territory. This area experienced increasing smuggling operations from Syria to Turkey, especially human trafficking.
