Rising tensions | Unknown gunmen attack military posts of regime forces who several positions in Daraa

Daraa province: Unknown gunmen have attacked with gun machines the cultural center in Jasem city in Daraa countryside, but no causalities have been reported.

On the other hand, members of the regime forces have withdrawn from a checkpoint stationed between al-Ghoryah and al-Misayfirah town in Daraa countryside.

Meanwhile, other regime members have withdrawn from Alama town after unknown assailants have set the checkpoint ablaze. But, the regime forces have strengthened their presence at the military checkpoints in Jasem city and the intercepting roads.

SOHR activists have reported clashes between regime forces and its proxies on one hand, and gunmen of Daraa al-Balad population on the other in the vicinity of Dawaar al-Kaziyah neighborhood in Daraa al-Balad in Daraa city, amid similar clashes near Daraa camp while sounds of ambulances were heard in the area.

The clashes started by the regime forces targeting with gun machines Daraa city causing damages in the only medical center that became out of service according to some reports. SOHR activists have also reported the arrival of Russian reinforcement to Basra al-Sham in eastern Daraa countryside, especially to the 8th Division headquarters that is backed by Russia for running talks and reaching a settlement to Daraa al-Balad issue.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported the death of a civilian in a shooting by the regime’s forces in Daraa al-Balad neighborhood, while the area witnessed cautious calm amid monitoring new negotiations between the central committee and the Syrian regime after the failure of the last one. Also, a group of Daraa city posted a videotape calling for deporting them to a safe place to avoid repercussions of the military operation that left human losses in the city yesterday.
