Along with ongoing negotiations | Regime forces boost their posts and shell the residential neighbourhoods throughout Daraa

Daraa province: SOHR activists have monitored security tension in Daraa province, along with the ongoing negotiations between regime forces and the Central Committee in Howaran.

Meanwhile, regime forces brought in military reinforcement to the checkpoints of Jasim city, in addition bringing heavy weapons, including tanks, to al-Sahm and al-Jabiya checkpoints in the countryside of Daraa.

On the other hand, regime forces stationed in Tel Mahs have shelled civilians’ houses with heavy artillery in Jassim city.

Similarly, regime soldiers stationed at the Irrigation Corporation checkpoint east of Muzayrib town and west of Daraa have opened heavy machineguns fire at the farms surrounding the town.

Moreover, an artillery shell was fired on the vicinity of Tel al-Samn west of Tafas town in the western countryside of Daraa.

Meanwhile, the members of an armed group affiliated to a former commander of the opposition factions in Daraa have imposed curfew on al-Shajarah town.

Earlier today, SOHR activists reported that the frontlines of Daraa al-Balad witnessed sporadic clashes between local fighters on one side, and the regime forces on the other amid the ongoing negotiations that did not announce any result so far.

According to SOHR activists some of the proposed names for deportation to the north of Syria are absolutely rejected that step. On the other hand, al-Heraq city, in eastern Daraa has witnessed protests in the afternoon of Friday in solidarity with Daraa al-Balad.

Earlier this morning, casualties continued to rise in the past 24 hours in Daraa as some of those sustained wounds passed away and other more death were documented. According to SOHR, number of civilians who were killed by the regime rockets and gun machines were 11 including three children, one is under 18 years old in Daraa al-Balad and a man in Jasem, a woman and her female child and other three children and two men in massacre of al-Yadodah town.

Meanwhile, number of local fighters deaths who were killed in clashed with the regime forces shelling, reached nine including four fighters in Daraa al-Balad, one in Jasem, one in al-Mazareeb and three fighter including a leader who was demanded to deport to north Syria by the regime.

On the other hand, eight soldiers of the regime forces were killed in the clashes, It is worth noting that number of the deaths is expected to rise because some of the wounded sustained severe injuries.

Cautious clam had prevailed Daraa over the past few hours till the moment, with some shooting and exchange of machine gun in different areas in north and east Daraa. No information was reported so far about results of the negotiations that took place in the Mala’ab al-Baladi between security leaders and officers in the 4th Division of the Syrian regime and representatives of Hawarn people and the Central Committee in Daraa under Russian mediation.

Yesterday, violent clashes and intensive bombardment continued on several frontlines in the eastern and western countryside of Daraa and in Daraa city, while local gunmen managed to capture more positions and checkpoints which regime forces were stationed in, as they captured at least 18 positions since morning in Um al-Mayazen, Nasib, customhouse area in Nasib, al-Tayba, Sayda, Kahil, al-Harrak and al-Maliha in the eastern countryside of Daraa. Regime forces therefore have been expelled from these areas. Accordingly, 11 areas in eastern Daraa have become free of regime forces and security services, after air-force intelligence service had withdrawn yesterday from Sahwa, Alma and al-Msifra.

In west Daraa countryside, however, the local gunmen managed to capture six posts and checkpoints in Tasil, al-Bakarah and al-Shajarah, along with violent clashes nearby Inkhil, Nawa Tafas and Jasim in western countryside and in Daraa al-Balad in Daraa city.

The clashes throughout Daraa province have left more fatalities, as the number of local gunmen killed today have reached five, and they were as follows: a fighter in Daraa al-Balad and four fighters in the western countryside of Daraa, including a commander whom regime forces asked to leave to north Syria region. Also, eight regime soldiers were killed in the clashes.

Furthermore, the gunmen managed to capture over 40 regime soldiers and loyal militiamen during today’s clashes across east and west Daraa countryside.
