Regime-controlled areas

The Iranian-backed Afghani militia of Liwaa Fatemiyoun graduated a new batch of the recently-joined recruitments. It is worth noting that the batch, which comprised nearly 64 militiamen, was taken to Ain Ali shrine on the outskirts of al-Mayadeen in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, where the recruits practiced the rituals of Liwaa Fatemiyoun, including smearing faces with mud in the shrine, getting blessing of water there, and chanting Shiite slogans, as it was the case with each batch of new recruits.

SOHR activists have documented the death of a little boy and his sister due to the explosion of an Old landmine, while they were grazing sheep nearby Deir Adas in northern Daraa.

SOHR activists have reported that anti-regime local gunmen in Daraa released over five prisoners including an officer of the regime-backed 4th Division this evening.

Similarly, the local gunmen released, yesterday, 24 other prisoners who were captured during attacks by the gunmen on regime forces stationed at several checkpoints and positions in Daraa.

This development came after an agreement reached under Russian supervision, which saved Daraa from military operations and as a part of preparations for implementing the new agreement

SOHR sources had reported that Russian forces and the central committee in Hawaran reached a new agreement that avoided the military operation and put an end to the high tension in Daraa governorate. The agreement stipulated for the entry of Russian backed 8th Corps to the region in order to implement the agreement, as well as being positioned in posts and military sites in several areas in Daraa. The agreement also stipulated for t the displacement of about 130 suspects to north Syria.

On the other hand, Russian forces and the regime-backed 4th division reached an agreement with the 5th Corps to put a joint mechanism for implementing the agreement.

It is worth noting that the central committee in Hawaran negotiated several times with the Syrian regime under the supervision of Russian forces in Daraa Municipal Stadium, without reaching a settlement.
