Russian delegation enters Daraa to continue negotiations | Food aid reached besieged civilians

Daraa province: SOHR activists in Daraa have reported that a food-loaded truck have entered al-Mazar’a neighborhood in west of Sawamgh Ghoraq where besieged civilians have been besieged since the clashes took place in Daraa.

The truck entered under mediation of the 8th Liwaa via air intelligence-held crossing. On the other hand, a Russian delegation has entered to Daraa few hours ago to continue the negotiation process after ending negotiation with On the other hand, a prominent military figure of the Syrian regime , believed to be the defense minister, has arrived in al-Mataar neighborhood in Daraa province, to meet with the central committee .

The new developments came amid cautious clam across Daraa. It is worth noting that the regime forces and the 4th Division and its security service have attacked Daraa in the past few days on pretext of deporting two persons who are Mohamed al-Mosalmah who is known as Hafaw and Moa’id Harfoush who is known as Abu Ta’gha.

Earlier in the day, SOHR activists have monitored cautious calm prevailing Daraa in southern Syrian amid Russian-mediated tranquility, but sporadic violations have continued in some areas. In al-Saad road in Daraa city, the regime forces have targeted the vicinity of the area with medium and heavy machine guns.

Yesterday night, SOHR activists reported clashes between local gunmen on one side and regime forces on the other near al-Mashaheer playground in Jasem city at Nmer-Jasem road.

SOHR activists reported the arrival of new reinforcements for the regime forces near Jasem city, after most of its checkpoints have been withdrawn from middle Daraa countryside. The developments coincided with reaching a deal between the Central Committee in Hawran and representatives of the regime forces under Russian mediation. The deal paves the road for conditioned comprehensive deal in the few coming hours.

SOHR activists reported on Sunday afternoon drop of mortar shells by the 4th Division in Daraa amid tense calm that controlled the province. Moreover, regime forces and security service have withdrawn more checkpoints in Daraa countryside, and air intelligence has also withdrawn from their bases in Qerfa town in north Daraa, and also pulled their checkpoint in Da’al in middle Daraa countryside.
The attacks and withdrawal came amid cautious waiting for applying a Russian-mediated deal to deploy the 5th Division forces on other several checkpoints and posts in Daraa al-Balad.

Concerning the deal, SOHR activists have learnt that a leader of a group who has been listed among the wanted for deportation to north Syria whose name is (M.M) and known as Hafwo who extremely rejected his deportation amid information of his flee into the desert. Another leader of another group whose name is Abou Ta’agha also refused the deportation.
