Regime-controlled areas

 

-SOHR activists, in western Euphrates, have reported that Iranian Revolutionary Guards factions have seized dozens of agricultural lands in eastern Dier Ezzor. The factions administrations have asked the land owners in Hawy and al-Magry neighborhoods in eastern Deir Ezzor to visit the factions headquarters to prove their ownership of the lands. The factions later have seized the lands that its owners have come, most of whom are living outside Deir Ezzor. The sources added that the factions have hired the confiscated lands to local members who have close ties with the factions to invest and cultivate it.

 

-SOHR activists have reported return of queues outside the bakeries across regime-held areas amid wide popular anger over the quality of the bread. Some bakeries in Lattakia province have provide low quality bread because the bad used floor which was a mix between wheat and large quantities of barley which isn’t even goof for feeding animals according to some of the population. Meanwhile, hard living conditions continue in the Syrian regime-held areas due to the electricity blackout for long hour amid wave of high temperature that hit the country, in addition to the other crises of water cut, lack of public transportations and the ongoing fuel problems.

 

-SOHR activists have reported that negotiations in Daraa have been postponed till tomorrow, Tuesday, after they reached a deadlock due to the regime’s conditions which have been considered humiliating to Daraa people and figures.

 

It is worth noting that regime demands to raise the internationally recognized Syrian flag on the top of al-Omary mosque, impose its control on the entire city of Daraa and deploy checkpoints throughout the region. In addition, the Syrian regime demanded several suspects leave the region or hand themselves and their weapons over.

 

Meanwhile, Huwaran central committee did not get an answer from regime regarding the mandatory service for Daraa young men, at a time when representatives of the residents and the negotiating committee demanded that their young men spend the duration of their military service in the ranks of the 8th Brigade.

 

The negotiations were attended by the head of the security committee in south Syria region Hosam Loqa, the head of the military security branch Loai al-Ali, the Brigadier General Ghyath Dallah, the leader of the 1st Corps and the Syrian regime Defense Minister.

 

On the other hand, a regime delegation has threatened to “destroy Daraa over the heads of its people” if the delegation’s demands are not fulfilled.

 

In this context, regime forces targeted Daraa al-Balad with artillery, tanks and heavy machineguns.

 

A few hours ago, SOHR activists reported hearing heavy gunfire in Daraa al-Balad, after the departure of Russian delegation from Daraa city, without revealing the latest meeting’s outcomes.

 

Today, a Russian delegation had entered Daraa al-Balad in order to meet with the central committees for resuming negotiations after they finished negotiating with the regime following the meeting with a high-ranking military figure in regime forces, believed to be the Syrian regime Defense minister, and some representatives of the area under Russian supervision.

 

SOHR activists in Daraa had reported that a food-loaded truck entered al-Mazar’a neighborhood in west of Sawamgh Ghoraq where besieged civilians were besieged since the clashes took place in Daraa.

 

The truck entered under mediation of the 8th Liwaa via air intelligence-held crossing. On the other hand, a Russian delegation entered to Daraa few hours earlier to continue the negotiation process after ending negotiation with On the other hand, a prominent military figure of the Syrian regime , believed to be the defense minister, arrived in al-Mataar neighborhood in Daraa province, to meet with the central committee.

 

The new developments came amid cautious clam across Daraa. It is worth noting that the regime forces and the 4th Division and its security service attacked Daraa in the past few days on pretext of deporting two persons who are Mohamed al-Mosalmah who was known as Hafaw and Moa’id Harfoush who was known as Abu Ta’gha.

 

 

Aleppo

 

-SOHR activists have reported that the civil police in Rajo district in Afrin countryside have arrested the president of the agriculture chamber in the local council of Rajo. The civil police stormed the civilian’s house in Kowira village in Rajo district and took the man to the security centers on July 28 for unknown charges till now.

 

On the other hand, Turkish-backed al-Hamza Division has decreased the number of members stationed at its checkpoints in Kafrdally Tahtani, Kafrdally Foqani, Maarrata and Mazen villages, while other checkpoints have been removed completely for unknown reasons.

 

 

SDF-held areas

 

-SOHR activists have reported explosion of IED near a water station in Abou Hamam town eastern Deir Ezzor that is stationed under control of the Syrian Democratic Forces. It is worth noting that SDF takes that station as a headquarters. Meanwhile, the explosion hasn’t caused casualties, but some material losses have been reported.

 

-SOHR activists have reported new joint patrol toured by Russian military police and its Turkish counterpart in eastern Ain al-Arab (Kubani). This is the 65th joint patrol in the region since the Turkish-Russian deal has been enforced about moving joint patrols in north areas of Syria. It is worth noting that the patrol was composed of eight Russian and Turkish vehicles that have been escorted by Russian helicopters from Ghareeb village in eastern Kubani city. It toured villages and cities in Bouztah, Qourah Mough, Jaishan, Khrabesan, Tahtani, Itwbran Tahtany and Baghdek until reaching Aghbash village in western Tal Abyad city.

 

 

“De-escalation zone”

 

SHOR activists, in Putin-Erdoghan area, have reported rocket fire in the regime forces in areas in Bahfees, near Tefad, Kafr Ta’al and Tadeel in western Aleppo countryside, al-Barah, Baneen, al-Futirah, Kansferah in Javal al-Zawiyah in the southern sector of Idlib countryside, and around Qalideen and al-Anqawi in Shal al-Ghab in northwest Hama countryside, but no casualties have been reported yet. Meanwhile, al-Fatah al-Mubeen operation room has bombarded regime forces posts at the frontline of al-Dana in southern Idlib, with no information about casualties.

 

Amid ongoing security chaos across Syrain, unidentified body of a male civilian has been found in al-Sokaryah village in the Turkish forces and its proxies –held areas in al-Bab city in eastern Aleppo.

 

Earlier in the day, SOHR activists have reported that rescue team have found body of female civilian in her thirties that was killed and thrown in an agricultural land near Bab al-Hawa border crossing with Turkey in north Idlib countryside in the HTS-held areas, but the rescue hasn’t verified her identity so far.

 

-SOHR activists have reported that an old landmine exploded this morning on the outskirts of Maarbeleit village in the southern countryside of Idlib, which caused the injury of a man while he was picking figs.
