Shot by Turkish Jandarma near Syria-Turkey border | Young man from Idlib sustained serious injuries

SOHR activists have documented the serious injury of a young man from Maarrat Harma village in Idlib countryside, after being shot today by Turkish Janderma while he was attempting to cross into Turkey from the countryside of Idlib. The young man was trying to escape from the repercussions of Syria’s protracted war which has been raging for over a decade.

 

According to Syrian Observatory statistics, the number of Syrian civilians who have been killed by the Turkish Jandarma since the beginning of the Syrian Revolution, has risen to 478 including 87 children under the age of eighteen and 45 females over the age of eighteen.
