“Badr gangs loots our properties every night” | Angry residents protest violations by Turkish-backed faction in Ras al-Ain countryside

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR sources have reported a demonstration by residents of al-Rawiyah village in Ras al-Ain countryside, in areas controlled by Turkish-backed factions in al-Hasakah province, protesting the attacks, looting and gunfire on civilians’ houses by members of Liwaa Shuhadaa Badr which is affiliated to the notorious al-Hamza Division.

 

The demonstrators have appealed to the Turks to interfere and put an end to the armed faction’s violations.

 

On July 25, SOHR activists monitored fierce clashes among groups of the Turkish-backed “Jaysh al-Sharqiyyah” in Ras al-Ain city (Sere Kaniye) in al-Hasakah countryside, in areas under the control of “Peace Spring” operations room. According to SOHR sources, the clashes left one of the relatives of a commander in “Jaysh al-Sharqiyyah” dead, while five other militiamen sustained various injuries.

 

On July 11, SOHR activists documented the death of a Turkish-backed militiaman of al-Hamza Division and injury of four others in the armed fight between two groups of the same division in “Peace Spring” areas in Ras al-Ain city (Sere Kaniye) in al-Hasakah countryside. According to SOHR sources in the region, the dead militiamen was from al-Jarba in eastern Ghouta.
