Without obstacles | Heavy weapons trucks arrive in “Iranian Colony” in Deir Ezzor countryside

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR activists have documented arrival of Iranian missile trucks, which are special for transferring vegetables, in the morning, coming from Iraq to Iran-backed militias in al-Mayadeen city in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.

According to resources, the vegetables trucks have moved to al-Hal market in the city for camouflage, and then took the road to al-Shalaby archeological areas at the city outskirts and have left the missiles in the tunnels that have been established by the militia for storing weapons without facing any obstacles.

On July 18, guided aircrafts of the US air forces targeted the Iranian factions’ areas in eastern Euphrates, Iranian Colony, at the Syrian lands. The strikes hit at least an armored vehicle of the Iraqi Hezbollah faction which is part of the Iraqi Al-Hashd al-Sha in the al-Swiah region at the border between Iraq and Syria in al-Bukamal village after it has entered the Iraqi lands.

According to SOHR activists, the targeted vehicle carried arms and ammunition of the factions. The attack completely destroyed the vehicle and killed it driver, but not information about more casualties were reported.

On June 28, SOHR activists reported rise of casualties due to US air attack on military posts under control of the Iranian militia near at the Iraqi-Syrian borders. Seven members of Iraqi Al-Hashd al-Shaabi killed in the US attack in eastern Deir Ezzor at the Iraqi borders. The attacks also destroyed weapons warehouse and another military post of the militia. Number of casualties is expected to rise because some sustained serious wounds.
