Renewed bombardment | Turkish forces and their proxies shell al-Hasakah countryside, while civilians flee from clashes and shelling

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists have reported that Turkish forces and their proxies have renewed their bombardment on SDF-held areas in the countryside of Tel Tamr, targeting Tel al-Ward, al-Dirdara, Majebra and Khashman villages in the countryside of Tel Tamr and Abu Raseen in the countryside of al-Hasakah.

This bombardment came after the shelling of Tel Muhammed village where the Turks were meeting with their proxy factions, amid reports of casualties.

The Turkish ground bombardment concentrated on al-Dirdara and Tel al-Ward villages, which forced the residents to displace to safer areas.

Earlier today, SOHR sources reported that Turkish forces shelled the villages of Jadidah, Mizru, Sabahiyah, Khashman, Rubay’at, Tel Ward, al-Dardarah, al-Maslat and Abboush.

This bombardment came as a response to SDF bombardment on a post of the Turkish-backed factions in Tel Muhamed village, which left several militiamen wounded.

On August 11, SOHR activists reported the death of two Turkey-backed militiamen in clashes with SDF on the frontline of Um al-Sha’fa village in Tel Amr in al-Hasakah countryside.
