“Peace Spring” areas | SDF kill Turkish-backed militiaman, while Turkish forces and their proxies shell positions in al-Hasakah and al-Raqqah

SOHR activists have reported that a member of the Turkish-backed factions from Idlib was shot dead by SDF snipers on frontlines in “Peace Spring” areas.

Two days ago, SOHR activists reported that Turkish forces and their proxies renewed their bombardment on SDF-held areas in the countryside of Tel Tamr, targeting Tel al-Ward, al-Dirdara, Majebra and Khashman villages in the countryside of Tel Tamr and Abu Rasin in the countryside of al-Hasakah.

 

This bombardment came after the SDF shelling on Tel Muhammed village where the Turks were meeting with their proxy factions, amid reports of casualties.

 

The Turkish ground bombardment concentrated on al-Dirdara and Tel al-Ward villages, which forced the residents to displace to safer areas.

 

Earlier on that day, SOHR sources reported that Turkish forces shelled the villages of Jadidah, Mizru, Sabahiyah, Khashman, Rubay’at, Tel Ward, al-Dardarah, al-Maslat and Abboush.
