Hours after attacking military checkpoint | Regime forces bomb besieged Daraa neighborhood

Daraa province: The regime forces, in the morning, have bombarded the besieged Daraa al-Balad with mortars and heavy gun machines.

In the other hand, clashes have been erupted in the early hours of Tuesday between local gunmen from Daraa al-Balad on one side and the regime forces on the other at the besieged outskirt in Daraa al-Balad.

Meanwhile, the regime forces have bombarded with mortars Sayda and Om al-Mayazeen neighborhood in eastern Daraa countryside after another attack with machine guns by local gunmen in the region at the frontlines of the Syrian forces in Sayda.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported exchange of fire between local gunmen and regime forces stationed at Sayda checkpoint in the eastern countryside of Daraa, as RPGs were used during the calshes. However, no casualties were reported.

On the other hand, regime forces attacked the outskirts of Tafas city in the north-western countryside of Daraa.

This development coincided with tense calm prevailing in Daraa city.

Observatory sources reported earlier that tense calm prevailed in Daraa al-Balad and the surrounding areas of Daraa city since the early hours of Monday morning, along with the start of implementing the terms of the Russian agreement that stipulated for applying ceasefire, evacuation of civilians besieged in Daraa al-Balad and handing over of weapons.
