Explosion | Two wounded in unknown car blast in al-Qamishly

Al-Hasakah province: A car belonging to the Autonomous Administration has exploded near al-Qamishly-A’moda road in west al-Qamishly countryside which caused wounding of two civilians. Reasons behind the explosion, whether IED or other explosive materials, remained known.

On August 16, unknown gunmen riding a motorbike threw a bomb and opened fire in a checkpoint near the National Hospital in south of al-Qamishly city. It was the last checkpoint of the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) close to the National Hospital that is controlled by the regime forces, which most probably will provoke an attack by the regime forces on checkpoint, but no causalities were reported.
