Drone attack | Turkish drone targets headquarters of Tel Tamr Military Council in al-Hasakah countryside, living six dead and wounded

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists have reported that a Turkish drone struck the headquarters of the military relations bureau of Tel Tamr Military Council operating under the banner of Syria Democratic Forces in al-Hasakah countryside. According to sources, the attack targeted a meeting attended by military commanders, which killed one person and injured five others as well as causing material damage to the attacked building.

 

On the other hand, the Turkish forces shelled Tel Tamr countryside with heavy artillery, but no casualties have been reported.

 

Yesterday, Observatory sources reported that SDF brought in large military reinforcement from Romilyan and Al-Qahtaniyah to Abu Raseen (Zarkan). The recently-arrived reinforcement comprised 60 pickup vehicle with submachine guns installed over them, military vehicles, armoured vehicles and fighters.

 

On the other hand, the Turkish bombardment on Tal Tamr and Abu Raseen countryside wounded 20 civilians, including children and women, some seriously.

 

On Tuesday, SOHR activists reported that number of people killed by the Turkish artillery fire on the countryside of Tel Tamr and Abu Raseen in the countryside of al-Hasakah rose to two, a woman and a little girl. Moreover, 12 other civilians were injured, including women and children, some seriously, as the Turkish shells hit civilians’ houses and residential neighborhoods in the countryside of al-Hasakah.

 

SOHR activists reported earlier that a little girl was killed and five other civilians were injured by Turkish ground shelling on the countryside of Abu Raseen (Zarkan).

 

On the same context, Turkish forces and their proxies shelled positions in the countryside of Tel Tamr and Abu Raseen in the countryside of al-Hasakah province, targeting Tel Shenan, Bab al-Khair, Bab al-Farag in Abu Raseen, and the vicinity of the Asayish headquarter, amid reports of injuries.

 

On the other hand, the area experienced large displacement movement of civilians who used no cars, fearing of being targeted. Accordingly, the civilians fled from the area on motorbikes and on barefoot.

 

In the early hours of Tuesday morning, Turkish forces and its proxies shelled, with heavy artillery, Derdarah and Tel Shanan villages, where several shells hit an area near the Russian base in Tel Tamr countryside in al-Hasakah. Also, the electricity station in Tel Tamr came under attack at dawn, which caused material damage.
