In search for smugglers in regime-backed areas | SDF storms houses in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside

Deir Ezzor province: Escorted by International Coalition, the Syrian Democratic Forces has launched stormed Kadeed Okydat village in east Deir Ezzor. The attack has targeted some civilians who work in smuggling activities in the areas under control of the Syrian regime forces, but they failed to arrest any of the wanted elements.

On August 16, SOHR activists reported that the SDF-backed Commandos arrested four people after they were summoned to the SDF headquarters in al-Shuhayl town in the countryside of Deir Ezzor, then they were taken to al-Suwar town, after SDF confiscated their two cars. It is worth mentioning that all the detainees hail from al-Shuhayl town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor and work in fuel trade.
