Vigils in Idlib | Residents express solidarity with Daraa al-Balad and demand the release of prisoners held in HTS jails

Idlib province: SOHR activists have reported that residents of Azaz city in the countryside of Aleppo have staged a vigil after Friday’s prayer, denouncing the continuation of the political operation and rejecting the decisions of Astana courses and the Constitutional Committee in light of the ongoing killing and displacing the Syrians by the Syrian regime.

The protestors lifted placards with slogans written on them, showing solidarity with the people in Daraa. The protestors also denounced the “farcical” political process which became a cover to displace Syrians by the regime forces and Iranian and Russian-backed militias.

On the other hand, residents demonstrated in “Mashad Rouheen” camp in Azaz city after Friday’s prayer, calling for the release of the detainees held in HTS prisons, after reports of execution of two young men from the city.

It is worth noting that residents demonstrated in Daraa countryside two days ago, expressing solidarity with the people of Daraa al-Balad which has been under a stifling siege by regime forces for over 56 days.
